Terms of Service
When you order a commission of any type from me, you automatically agree to my terms of service. I know it's not fun but I highly suggest you go over them!! If you have obviously not read them, I may reject your order.
General Art
This is character artwork such as sketches, chibis, illustrations, animations, YCHs, and more!! Each type I offer has slightly different procedures, so be sure to read carefully. If you're interested in something not listed, feel free to DM me to inquire.
Live2D Art & Rigging
These are character models that will be rigged in Live2D Cubism. I offer a variety of art and rig styles, as well as art-only or rig-only commissions. Though please note that I consider myself an intermediate Live2D mechanic, so there are some things I can't do!!

Terms of Service
These terms are for the commissions of R / otter / ottermosphere.
They apply on all platforms (Bluesky, Twitch, Ko-fi, etc.) where I create content.
My terms may change without warning; there is a one-week buffer for client agreement.
All users will be held accountable to any updates a week after they've been made.
I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who breaks this ToS.
By commissioning me, you automatically agree to these written statements.Last Updated on February 26th, 2024.
Procedure
✦ Commissioners are placed on a waiting list based on when their form is submitted.
✦ You will be contacted for payment and other details once you are first in queue.
✦ You may change your mind and cancel your order any time before I get to you.
✦ My current queue is available to the public here.
✦ Please allow me one week to work before inquiring about the status of your commission.✦ You must have a design in mind in order to commission artwork from me.
✦ I do not accept text-only, "design this for me" commission orders.
✦ Please at least put together a Picrew, color palettes, and/or other visuals. (example)
Payment
✦ Payment is due upfront before any work is started.
✦ Failure to pay in a timely manner may result in your request being dropped.
✦ You will not receive your files until full payment has been received.✦ Payment plans are available for orders over $200 USD, but please notify me beforehand.
✦ There is a required, initial 30% down payment for any payment plan before work is started.
✦ The client must make a payment at least once every 15 days at the negotiated price.
✦ I reserve the right to decline a payment plan for any reason.
✦ Failure to pay on time will result in a warning before the commission is dropped.
✦ Grace periods can be worked out but please communicate with me!✦ If you request a refund after work has started, I will only refund the unfinished portion.
✦ You will also receive the commission files in their current state.
✦ On commissions not yet started, you will receive a full refund with no cancellation fee.
General Artwork
✦ General artwork is ordered through Google Forms, VGen, or Ko-fi.
✦ WIP shots will vary depending on the commission type.
✦ Please notify me in advance if you would like different or additional approval stages.
✦ You may request one large edit during the sketch-approval phase.
✦ I reserve the right to add a 10% fee for any large edits after the first.
✦ I will only make edits for free if they are for features present in your reference(s) that I missed.
✦ A reasonable number — at my discretion — of minor edits can be requested at this phase.
✦ I don't allow further edits after approval, so please go over everything closely!!✦ Please expect at most three weeks for the turnaround, depending on your commission.
✦ If you are on a deadline, you may pay +25% extra to skip the queue and rush your order.
Live2D Art & Rigging
✦ Live2D-related commissions are ordered via Google Forms or VGen.
✦ For Live2D, I send at least two WIP shots: after the sketch and before rigging.
✦ Once the sketch is complete, I will message you for approval.
✦ The sketch phase is the only time I allow for edits to the pose.
✦ After I begin coloring, I no longer allow edits to any physical features.
✦ Once the colors are complete, I will message you for approval.
✦ After I begin rigging, I no longer allow edits to the palette.
✦ I reserve the right to add a 10% fee for any large edits after the first.
✦ I will only make edits for free if they are for features present in your reference(s) that I missed.

✦ But please understand that there are certain things I may not be able to achieve.
✦ You may request an update at any time while waiting (just please not daily).
✦ If you are on a deadline, you may pay +30% extra to skip the queue and rush your order.✦ Once I am finished, you will receive a Google Drive link to your files.
✦ For security purposes, I do not automatically include .psd or .cmo3 files in the drive.
✦ Those files are not necessary to run the model, but would allow others to recreate your model.
✦ But if you are an artist or rigger who would like them, please let me know.
✦ You do not have to commission me for updates if you have the means to do so yourself.
Artist Rights
✦ By commissioning me, you are purchasing my artist labor only.
✦ I am not to be held accountable for any drama or scandal that comes from said commission(s).
✦ I retain all copyrights over my work, which include but are not limited to the right to distribute, reproduce, or use the image for self-promotion.
✦ I will respect your request to only post your piece(s) after a certain date — let me know when!
✦ I cannot claim intellectual property over, reuse, or resell the files for personal and commercial projects unless otherwise agreed upon, or if there was a breach in contract.
Commissioner Rights
✦ The commissioner (you) may upload any work done for you to your site(s) as long as it is credited and linked back to any of my galleries.
✦ You may add any piece commissioned from me at its original price point onto a character's resale value if transferring them.
✦ Once a piece is commissioned, you may use it for any personal use and projects.
✦ Digital-only commercial use (such as streams, monetized videos, and promotional materials) is also allowed.
✦ You may not claim the work to be your own or set it up for mass physical redistribution.
✦ If you are looking to reproduce and redistribute, please speak to me about royalty fees.
✦ You may not use the artwork for any blockchain-related technologies, such as NFTs or cryptocurrency.
✦ This includes all past, present, and future derivatives of such technologies, selling platforms, and trading/investing spaces.
✦ You or any partners may not use the artwork in training AI.
Refusal of Service
✦ While I reserve the right to refuse service without reason, here are my general guidelines.
✦ You may be temporarily or permanently banned from my services depending on the severity of your actions.✦ Reasons for refusal of or ban from services may include:
• request is outside of my comfort or skill level
• harassment of myself or other users
• continued breakage of terms
• failed payment plans
• attempted or successful chargebacks
• scamming
• ban evasion
• purposefully inciting drama
• use of my artwork in training AI
• participation in blockchain-related technology✦ I will not judge or question your content choices, but please respect my personal boundaries and do not harass me or any other customers.
✦ If you are unsure whether or not your request is valid, feel free to inquire.BLOCKCHAIN-TECHNOLOGY WARNING
✦ If it is discovered that a client uses any artwork created by me as an NFT or cryptocurrency in any form at any time, the client shall:
• have their commission be removed from my public art-hosting services
• delete the offending material(s) from all blockchain-associated technologies, services, and platforms
• return the entire amount earned from the NFT or cryptocurrency sales using a government-recognized currency
• be banned from using my services
✦ Any protest or dispute will result in a DMCA being filed to forcibly remove my artwork from such spaces, with this contract linked as proof.
General Art
This page is for emotes and other illustration types only.
You must have a colored character reference in order to commission me.
All prices listed are starting prices and subject to change based on complexity.
If you have any complicated design elements, they are subject to a price increase!
My typical turnaround is anywhere from 1 week to 3 weeks.
Emotes
Emotes are 200x200, drawn in a chibi style, flat colored, and come with a transparent background. Complex designs will be simplified and dark palettes may be slightly lightened. My main focus is readability at a small size, so these are not intended to be used on larger scales.I use Live2D to animate, so only tweening-style emotes are allowed. This means certain movements cannot be achieved, as I do not draw them frame-by-frame. I will let you know if I am unable to do something before accepting your order.I also have some free-to-use emotes in my Ko-fi shop.
Static Emotes

✦ $99 for a set of 5You will receive one WIP at the sketch phase, during which you can request edits to the posing, cropping, or physical details. After approval is given and coloring has begun, only changes to the palette are allowed.
Animated Emotes
✦ $33 each
✦ $148 for a set of 5The first approval phase is the same as static emotes. Then, you will receive a second WIP after coloring is complete, during which you can request edits to the palette. After I begin animating, only changes to the movements and speed are allowed.
Chibis
Chibis are 600x600 or smaller, have little to no shading, and can come with a solid-colored background. Complex designs will be simplified and palettes may be slightly altered. My main focus is exaggerated proportions to showcase your character in cute or funny situations!!Chibis have no WIP approval stages and are ordered through my VGen.
Standard
Standard style illustrations are 1000x1000 or bigger, have minimal rendering, and can come with simple backgrounds or props. I like to clean up my sketch layer to use as lineart, so there will be the occasional frayed line. My style may change slightly from time to time, so please allow for some variation from the examples shown!!You will receive one WIP at the sketch phase, during which you can request edits to the pose or physical details. After approval is given and coloring has begun, only changes to the palette are allowed.

Live2D Art & Rigging

Mini Mascot rigs are around 1000x1000 in size and drawn with a medium line weight throughout the entire piece. Designs will be simple in terms of anatomy, coloring, and patterning and can have small accessories. You can choose any non-humanoid creature as your mascot or allow me to surprise you!!

You can get 50% off your initial price if you allow me to release a blank, customizable version in my Ko-fi shop. I will remove all distinguishing colors, features, and accessories from your custom, and the files will be free-to-use for the public. You will be credited as the original client but you must be comfortable with others having similar-looking base models, otherwise, do not request this discount!!
Textured Chibi
Textured Chibi rigs are lineless, around 1000x1000 in size, drawn with a grainy brush, and minimally shaded. Complicated designs will be simplified in terms of anatomy, coloring, and patterning. All species welcome: humanoid, non-humanoid, and everything in between!!

If you want me to do both the art and rig for your model, please select the "Art Only" option on the GForm, and then clearly state in the notes section that you plan on commissioning me for rigging, as well.
